Join us for an engaging exploration of sports\, memory\, and identity through the lens of experimental film. \nFeatured Presentation:\nShane Eason\, Director of the School of Communication & Multimedia Studies at FAU\, will introduce and discuss the experimental short film trilogy SIN BIN. This series reimagines the lives of hockey’s notorious “enforcers”—Stu Grimson\, Derek Boogaard\, and Tiger Williams—using fragmented found footage\, manipulated archival material\, and repetition to interrogate the intersections of sport\, masculinity\, and bodily collapse. \nEvent Details: \n\nDate: Friday\, January 23\, 2026\nTime: 12 PM – 1 PM\nLocation: FAU Las Olas- 111 East Las Olas Blvd. Fort Lauderdale\, FL 33301\nLunch Option: Box lunches will be provided for registered attendees.
