SUMMARY:FAB Grantee Program: Chopin Foundation of the United States Presents: CHOPIN for ALL: Charles Richard-Hamelin
DESCRIPTION:Each spring\, the Chopin Foundation presents a showcase of outstanding piano students under the age of 18 from across South Florida. Students are nominated by their teachers and selected through audition by a panel of professionals to participate in this unique all-Chopin program—part of the Foundation’s mission to support and encourage the development of young American pianists. \nThe 2025–2026 season of CHOPIN for ALL continues with one of the series’ most cherished traditions: a special all-Chopin recital showcasing the best young pianists from South Florida. Selected through a competitive audition process\, these exceptional students—recommended by their private piano teachers—take the stage to share their interpretations of Frédéric Chopin’s timeless music. Saturday’s program features performers from Broward and Palm Beach Counties at the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center\, while Sunday’s concert highlights Miami-Dade students at Granada Church. \nJoin us for this inspiring program featuring the next generation of pianists. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Chopin Foundation’s 2025–2026 season of CHOPIN for ALL concludes with an extraordinary guest: Canadian pianist Charles Richard-Hamelin\, Silver Medalist and winner of the Krystian Zimerman Prize at the 2015 International Chopin Piano Competition.
