City Theatre Summer Shorts Festival 2008 $10,000. This is a Mainstage and Family Festivals National Festival devoted to the production of original “short” one-act plays. An evening-length Flamenco concert with original score by Jose Luis Rodriquez featuring guest artists from Spain, Gema Corredera, Belen Maya, and Pastora Galvan. Other performances include choreographies set for the company by invited guest artists Belen Maya and Pastora Galvan. |

Coral Springs Museum of Art Peter King ~ Gateway to Peace ~ Artist in Residence 2008 $8,000. Peter King, a Florida artist, recognized internationally for his architectural ceramics, will create Gateway To Peace for the International Peace Garden. For forty-five days, the artist will work outside the Museum, where visitors and onlookers can stop by and ask questions. |

Fantasy Theatre Factory Children’s Cultural Enrichment and Literacy Programs $2,000 Forty quality theatre experiences for children and families throughout Broward County, serving 15,000 children from all demographics, will be performed.
