FAB Grantee Program: Master Chorale of South Florida Presents: Heaven & Earth

Immerse yourself in a multi-media experience that highlights the beauty and fragility of the natural world. Sarah Kirkland Snider wrote Mass for the Endangered as a prayer for disappearing species of animals and the imperiled environments in which they live. Called “powerful, delicate and as exquisite as a spider’s web,” the work motivates listeners to save what’s left. The Chorale will also perform the world premiere of a piece commissioned from Marques Garrett. The Sky Remembers provides a fresh musical perspective on the unique flora and fauna of South Florida. More than a concert, Heaven & Earth is an unforgettable journey that blends art, nature and music.
