FAB Grantee Program: FLIFF Presents: Cabaret (1972)

May 13 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Broward County Film Society is  collaborating with the Stonewall Library & Archives for this edition of FAB: REEL CONNECTIONS on the 1972 musical “CABARET”

Robert Kesten, Stonewall’s President & CEO chose “Cabaret”, which presents a look at Berlin and Germany as World War Two and the Nazis came into focus for the world. The fluidity of sexual orientation and activity, the unfiltered prejudices, the racism and antisemitism are so very close to today that sharing this film now is a reminder of what we are fighting for and the liberty we hope for.

The film will be introduced by Robert Kesten.
