NEW INITIATIVE COLLABORATOR
FAB received a $150,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Broward in support of the ‘Be the Spark!’ campaign focused on arts education in Broward’s Title 1 schools which enabled FAB to double its ‘Arts Access’ awards to $300,000!
Support for the grant was provided by the following funds at the Community Foundation of Broward:
- Drial Foundation Fund
- Mildred H. Fagen Charitable Fund
- Stearns Weaver Miller Fund for the Arts
- The Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation Broward Community Fund
WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
It all started with a goal to build a stronger arts community
In October of 2022, the campaign kicked off with a lead gift of $750,000 from Funding Arts Broward’s Founder, Francie Bishop Good and her husband David Horvitz.
- EXPAND our funding capacity for FAB’s Visual, Performing Arts, and Youth Arts Education Grants
- BUILD opportunities for arts organizations to develop “New Initiatives” and encourage strategic granting collaboration between FAB and other funding partners
- INVEST in FAB’s infrastructure to support the funding needs of the Broward arts community
- ENDOW to ensure continued support for the arts with an Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Broward
