FAB Grantee Program: Embrace Music Presents: Rhythms of Africa

“Rhythms of Africa” is a musical journey describing the movement of ancient rhythms sprung from the souls of vibrant cultures and carried by hand and heart from Africa to the New World. It’s World Music, the universal language, and our performances welcome all to celebrate with us. Our program challenges children to recognize, channel, and direct their creativity. The show features 25 – 40 students, most musical novices who participated in a series of workshops, pairing them with professional musicians who join them on stage for two performances.
