Signature Event: FAB’s Town Hall Gathering at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts
Join us as we kick off FAB’s 21st season and announce the very important findings of a year long study conducted by FAB on the needs of our Broward arts community. 

Description of Program: FAB members and the community at large are welcome to attend this complimentary event. Light refreshments will be served. RSVP is required to attend. Program begins promptly at 10:30am. Program will include an address by Mary Riedel, President, FAB, the announcement of FAB activities and opportunities for the next year and FAB Fun Event season announcement.

Signature Event: Calling ALL Arts Lovers! Join us for Art Share, FAB’S Annual Art Exhibit and Cocktail Reception. Program is open to the community.
Description of Program: Art Share is FAB’s Annual Art Exhibit where creatives come to exhibit their work and expand their networks  It’s a community focused initiative which provides an outlet to engage artists, art collectors, FAB members, community liaisons, and more. This year, FAB is hosting Art Share at the Mad Arts Museum in Dania Beach.

FAU Program: AI and Architecture 

Description of Program: Join us for an engaging session with Joseph Choma, Director of the School of Architecture at Florida Atlantic University. Joseph will discuss the transformative role of AI in architectural education, highlighting FAU’s pioneering program that integrates advanced AI learning. You’re Invited to FAB Goes Public: A Celebration of Art and Inspiration
A Public Art Program Launched by Funding Arts Broward

Description of Program: FAB goes public, an exciting new initiative by FAB, will present a dynamic outdoor art light projection by local artist Rosanna Kalis. Be first to view this original artwork light up the west-facing wall of the Parker Theater, transforming it into a canvas of stunning creativity and inspiration.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our collaborators, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts’ the  Parker, Marc Aptakin, and Mad Arts Museum in Dania Beach, whose contributions have been instrumental in bringing this vision to life. A special thanks to the generous supporters of FAB’s “Be the Spark” Campaign for their commitment to inspiring creativity in our community. We look forward to celebrating this incredible milestone with you!

You’re Invited to ” A Delicate Balance” by Island City Stage
FAB Funded Program

Description of Program: Join FAB members and friends at a special viewing of “A Delicate Balance” Edward Albee’s Pulitzer Prize-Winning Play by Island City Stage. This milestone production of Edward Albee’s Pulitzer Prize winning “A Delicate Balance” marks a bold calculated change for Island City Stage, as it will be their first-ever presentation without an LGBTQ+ character. However, it aligns perfectly with their commitment to offering diverse and compelling theatrical experiences that appeal to a wider demographic.  By presenting “A Delicate Balance,” Island City Stage boldly aims to engage audiences beyond their core community, inviting them to experience the depth and complexity of Albee’s masterful storytelling.

FAB members and their guests are welcome to attend the pre-show reception one hour before showtime on Saturday, January 18, 2025 only.
