Art Share Raised Funds, Friends, and Sales for Local Artists

First-ever event brought in $11,500 for Artists and FAB!

(Fort Lauderdale, Florida) – Nearly 150 people attended the recent Art Share event at ArtServe in Fort Lauderdale to raise awareness and funds for Funding Arts Broward (FAB). FAB, a nonprofit that raises funds to support the local arts organizations, hosted more than 20 local artists who sold more than $7,500 in works at the show.
The event raised more than $4,000 to support the “BE THE SPARK” campaign, an effort to grow the organization’s endowment to ensure that support of the Broward arts community will continue for years to come. The endowment has reached $2 million of its $3 million goal, including a lead gift of $750,000 from Francie Bishop Good and David Horvitz.
This is the first event of its kind in honor of support to the Visual Artists in Broward.

Las Olas Capitol Arts and Blick Materials sponsored the event.
